Sample Trial Preparation Checklist: Material, Quantity and Records

How useful a trial is depends largely on preparation. Use this checklist, and share it with us when you book a trial.

1. Material information

• Name and form (liquid, paste, filter cake, powder, granules).
• Moisture or solids content, and viscosity for liquid feeds.
• Sensitivity to heat, oxygen or shear; hygroscopic or caking tendency.
• Whether it contains solvents, and whether it is odorous or corrosive.
• Safety data, if available, so we can assess operating conditions.

2. Targets

• The product you want (powder, granules, cake).
• Target particle size, moisture, bulk density or other specifications.
• Expected throughput, to guide the scale-up direction.

3. Quantity

The amount needed depends on the machine and process. Please confirm with us first and do not ship large quantities on your own. If shipping is impractical, we can source the same or a similar material for the trial.

4. What we record

• Feed conditions and machine parameters (temperatures, air flow, speed, vacuum and so on).
• Process behaviour (sticking, caking, dust).
• Main product specifications and appearance.

5. What you receive

A summary of the results with selection and scale-up recommendations. Trials are quoted according to the trial plan and run at our test center in Changzhou.
